Having Open Your Garage App and iWUP system in my iPhone to control my garage means:
- I can be in a car that doesn’t have my garage code programmed into it and open/close my garage (e.g. a friend’s car)
- I can go out for a walk or a run, close the garage door behind me and open it again when I get back home
Generally speaking, it’s one less box to worry about when I go out

Q: What prevents others from opening my garage ?
A: A person has to be physically in your garage and will need the custom of his WEP password iWUP WiFi, making it imposible.
Q: Will the “Open Your Garage App” drain my Iphone battery ?
A: No. The App consumes no power when not in use.
Q: Can I use the “Open Your Garage App” to open my garage over the internet ?
A: No, but in a short time will be available, just in your local iWUP network.
Q: Do I have to buy the “Open Your Garage App” ?
A: The “Open Your Garage App” is FREE but if you want to build yourself the iwup system you must purchase the "Open Your Garage vPro". If you buy the assembled iwup system we discount the price.
Q: Do I have to buy the “iWUP receiver” ?
A: Yes the iWUP it´s the hardware system that makes it possible to run the FREE App "Open Your Garage". But you can also build your self, because we have open the hardware software to build yourself. Yes you can get the Arduino iwup firmware. For more information see the manual instructions.
Q: I have multiple garages. Can I use “Open Your Garage App to control all my garages ?
A: Yes, but you need to buy a iWUP hardware system by garage.
Q:How many doors can i will open with iwup system by home?
A: Three, but in the next update up to six. To open more than one door you will need an additional relay for door.
Q: Can I open the automatic shutter of my business with iWUP?
A: yes, you can do it.
Q: What is the range of iWUP ?
A: iWUP WiFi network has a range of 10m (30 feet) to 30 m (100fts). we recommend installing the module specifically iWUP near the garage door
Q: Can I turn off the iWUP system when going on vacation ?
A: Yes.

A: This project supports all brands: Genie, Chamberlain, Liftmaster, and Sears Craftsman, Raynor, Wayne-Dalton, Access Master, and Axis Cam garage door openers, because you it´s compatible with all models of the market because they do not need to modify the engine
Q: Will this project void my garage door opener warranty or cause electrical problems?
A: No, the manufacturer of your garage allows you to use a 3rd party wallswitch, but also you don´t need to modify the engine
Q: Can I install a surveillance camera system to the iWUP receiver?
A: Yes, you can install up to 3 surveillance IP CAMs.
